The word "Gamarada" means "comrades" or "friends" in the Gadigal language, the Indigenous language of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation in the Sydney area.

The Gamarada program invites allies to become part of the Jarjum community, offering a meaningful way to give back while experiencing the heart and spirit of Jarjum College.
Any individual, corporate, school, foundation or community can become a Gamarada today by sponsoring a child or donating to one of the many programs it takes to keep the school running.
